Had to be done.
Natasha Romanoff: transformationsequence
Lazy progress selfie: except for clasps and the bow and brooch, shirt is done! Well, “shirt”.
How many days do I have left again? Wait, don’t tell me.
Prototype Jupiter Collars
That’s right, Jupiter is too cool for ONE COLLAR! My attempts to gradient are not as lovely as I’d have liked, but this is crunch time.
This was basically Winter Soldier, right? We were all watching the same movie?
I may be tweaking this costume before Philly Wizard World - replacing the wig and recoloring the jacket (heck yeah, Color Sprays!) but it was overall super fun!
Photography by amindonamission, my total hero.
Sharon and Natasha spilling all Steve’s secrets.
Okay so this is the trick that transformationsequence showed me this weekend so most of the credit goes to her, I’m just using my stupid face. You also want to be sure you use a black mesh cap with a hole in it, otherwise this method won’t work.
I discovered this a few months ago and it’s BLACK MAGIC OR SOMETHING SERIOUSLY. Be warned, the caps do wear out their elastic after repeated wearings.
Visited the Air and Space Museum. Pretty sure I got Stan Lee fired.
I just wanna make crazy science.
The magic that is this Cosima costume is really hard to explain. I borrowed lallyinthesky’s dreads and scarf, my SA dress arrived the morning we left for the con, I found all the jewelry at the Forever 21 a block south of our hotel… and it was magical to wear it, Clone Club members were coming out of the woodwork! I love you all, okay?
Our roof top Washington D.C. Captain America: The Winter Soldier photoshoot. I hope you guys like them, because I’ve got like three more photo sets of these.
My Cosima costume came together nearly miraculously in time for AwesomeCon. I’m giddy over here.
The lady checking us out of the hotel knew I was Cosima?!
Clone club is everywhere.
